This incident I am about to tell you had happened to me when I was in the fifth standard. Every summer vacation I used to go to my grandparent's house in Vadodara. Their house was huge and was located just opposite of a graveyard and to added to that, there was a railway track behind the house.
All my cousins also gathered at my grandparents’ house. We played, fought, teased cried and laughed together. It was a hell of a time!
We all cousins used to sleep at the terrace with broad sky view and natural breeze. During the night I felt thirsty so I got up to have a water bottle which was placed near the wall. I took the bottle, but it was empty. I cursed my elder cousin and walked downstairs, alone.
I entered the kitchen and dipped the glass in matka. I sat on the stool and drank it sleepily. Suddenly I heard throaty old lady's voice. “COME WITH ME MY BOY!! HERE…!! I LIVE THERE…” she pointed her index finger at the graveyard.
She was bent over the waist. She was looking horribly scary. Her untidy hairs, wrinkled face, toothless mouth, yellow saree and a big red bindi on her forehead were enough to scare my little heart. As she walked towards me, I screamed on top of my lungs!! “Dada….Dadi….!!!!!!”
My grandparents stormed downstairs with horrified looked. “W—what happened, Montu…?”
“I—I saw an old scary lady. S—she was asking me to go with her there…. At the graveyard.” I said crying.
My grandparents looked at each other with horror-struck expressions.
