Fantasy Frolics: Episode 3: Flora And Fauna Land

CHAPTER 10: KIYA IS LOST!!

We swam across the vortex for what seemed like an eternity. "I hope we reach the land soon! Plus, we even need to pass the test of the guardian!" I said. Soon, we reached the land. We walked there for an hour. We walked and walked and walked............

We walked a lot! "Revs, I can't walk more! I am dead tired!" Julia complained. "Neither me!" I told back. Kiya was the only one who didn't complain. She wasn't even there with us!! "Where on earth is Kiya now?!!" Julia asked. "Probably she got lost on the way," I replied, worried. "Well, even though she's annoying, we should still find her," Julia told. I thought that Julia was annoying! But, anyways. I didn't want to argue. We walked back to the place where we had landed after swimming in that vortex. We called, "Kiya? Kiya?" But, we didn't hear anything. We were just walking through the bushes when suddenly, my foot hit someone- or something, and I stumbled over and fell! "Oucchhhh!!!" I screeched. "Revs! You stumbled because of Kiya! She's here! But, how did she come here?!" Julia realised. Kiya was unconscious. We shook her, so she could wake up. She finally opened her eyes. "Where am I?" She asked, confused. "We're in the fantasy worlds, in the flora and fauna land! Remember? We have a mission!" I reminded. She still seemed confused. After a few minutes, she finally remembered everything. "Oh yeah! I get it....I was actually walking, but then I tripped on some rocks! And, I guess, I passed out!" Kiya said. We helped her to get on her feet back. Luckily, she had only minor bruises. "I am fine! We can continue!" Kiya assured us.

CHAPTER 11: THE FIERY TEST:

We walked carefully. We reached a small path that had strange symbols engraved on it. "I guess this is where the guardian lives!" Julia guessed. We marched ahead. Ahead, we saw some bubbles of all shapes floating in the sky. One of them flew towards us, and it popped! After it popped, a small leaf fell down, on the floor. I picked it up, and it had a few words written. It read, "Stop! I am a Fiery lady, the queen of the Flora and Fauna land. Get ready for my test!!" After I'd finished reading that note, a creature appeared in front of us. She had a lovely face and gorgeous fiery-red locks. I tried to speak, but she interrupted me, "Say no more! Get ready for my tests!"

"So, there are multiple tests. Not only one." She informed. She waved her hands, and a circular, deep and hollow path appeared. It was filled with fire! "So, you must walk on the boundary of this circular path. It is really thin, so make sure you balance well. If you don't balance, not only you'll fall in the fire, but also you won't receive the special object! Who's going first?" Fiery Lady said. "I'll go first!" Kiya offered. The queen reluctantly nodded her head.

"I'll tell you to stop when the finish line comes!" The queen informed. Kiya stepped on the boundary and then she slowly walked and balanced herself. "Stop! Good, you have passed this test," Fiery Lady congratulated. She had done it!! I went next, and luckily, I survived, too! It was Julia's turn next. She was just trying to balance, but suddenly, she sneezed, and we all got worried! Julia might lose the balance and topple over! But, luckily, she survived too. She breathed a sigh of relief when she was done. "Great! You all have passed the first test!" The queen congratulated.

CHAPTER 12: THE NEXT TEST: 

The fiery lady waved her hands again, and the circular path disappeared, and a bridge appeared. Below it, the lava boiled and bubbled. "So, you'll have to walk through the bridge. But, after each and every step, the bridge breaks into fragments behind you. So, that's the challenge! Rules are the same, but!" Came the explanation.

This time, I volunteered to go first. I decided to run quickly, instead of walking. "Is it okay if I run?" I asked. "No!" came the reply. So, slowly I walked. Just as the queen had said, little by little, after each step, the bridge broke into fragments behind me. Kiya and Julia also walked safely, without tripping or toppling.

CHAPTER 13: THE QUEEN'S SATISFACTION:

"Hmm, I'm satisfied, so I'll give you the special objecṭ. Well, rather, you'll have to get them, by yourselves! Go straight and then leave. You'll see many flowers from the 'Beautyfloraflowers' species. Just pluck seven. And, don't get stuck to the catchy cactuses! They have a really, really, really strong glue all over their body!" Fiery Lady explained.

CHAPTER 14: FINDING THE FLOWERS:

We headed straight and then left. Soon, we could see a whole garden of flowers! Well, we could also see the catchy cactuses. Julia offered to go and pluck the flowers. We agreed. Thank goodness, Julia didn't get stuck on the cactuses, even though she gets a bit clumsy, and ruins things! "Great job, Tulia! You didn't ruin something, at least!" Kiya teased. I laughed. "It's Julia, not Tulia," Julia said, frowning.

We remembered, that, we didn't ask about the next mission! So, we went back to Fiery Lady and asked about it. "Oh yes, you must go to Softy land, and get the small, lightning clouds. They have immense power. After you succeed in getting those, please don't drop them! Never! Otherwise, it'll blast, and it's going to cause harm!" She informed.

We set out for the next mission, in the Softy land.
