'Lia, get up, the twins are waiting to meet you at 2!' My mum warned me hurriedly. I sat up and yawned with elatedness filling inside me as today I'll be visiting Selena and Serena's (my best friend's) house.

After brushing my teeth and getting ready, there was a knock on the door. My mum opened it and there, standing with gleeful grins, were my friends who were coincidentally just in time to pick me up although I was planning to walk to their house myself. So just then, I ran up to my friends and left my house.

Once I was a couple of meters away from my house, I was casually sauntering across the street to approach the house, but just then, I spotted glitter...very shimmery glitter...SO sparkly and exquisite that I had a funny notion that it might be something magical! I nudged the twins' elbows and pointed to the glistening glitter.

Their jaws dropped as they gazed at the flashing stars.

'Woah..what could that be? It looks awfully mystical!' The twins exclaimed at the same time.

It felt as if our feet were automatically taking us to the speechlessly spectacular sparkles.

'Oh, my- ARE THOSE WHAT I THINK THEY ARE?' I murmured with wide eyes as I saw a miniature, human-looking creature with delicate wings, a pastel dress, and a little wand in their hand which was causing the glitter to scatter everywhere.

The twins glanced in the direction I was facing and whispered 'F-fairies!' Their eyes widened the second they took a look.

After some time of mesmerization, we also found many other fairies. By their expressions, they seemed as if they were exhausted and a little melancholy. Although they had taken a small glimpse at us and tried to hide, we slowly tip-toed towards them as we all agreed to help them with whatever issue they may have been in, hoping not to bother them.

'Erm...Excuse me dear fairies, we've seen that you all are quite unhappy. We were wondering if we could somehow help?... We're so sorry if we have bothered you.'

All of the fairies gave a large shriek but just then one fairy flew out in front of the group and shushed them all in their own language. Her eyes were shimmery and her wings and wand were a wee bit bigger, unlike all the others.

`Greetings fellow humans,

I am Asia, short for Anastasia. I am the leader of all fairies. It's a pleasure to meet you three. Sorry for the loud scream of my fairies, they are not used to humans and are told by me that they are not allowed to speak to humans as they may do dangerous things to us fairies. And yes, we are in quite a difficulty and it would be very delightful if you could help us though the only problem is that I'm not sure whether to trust you girls, as I had once trusted a human but he betrayed me and in return I found misery.' She spoke politely with her high-pitched voice.

We assured her that we wouldn't let them down and kindly asked what their situation was.

'Well, we've found out that Nightmarions have started to form who create nightmares to make children suffer. We try our best to stop them as fairies but we shall never succeed until we are given the 'Curing Dust' which is located in the Forest of Fairies although there aren't any fairies living there anymore. It also isn't very far from here, just keep moving forward. Only humans can lift it,' She replied, half dismayingly.

We agreed to help as we were always up for a challenge, especially Serena, who is the most ambitious out of all of us. She ran as fast as a cheetah, packing her brain with curiosity as she went forward. Her midnight-black hair swung across her face as she turned to us and gave a small hand gesture to let us know she wanted us to follow her.

We kept continuously striding while thoroughly scanning our eyes for nearby trees until Selena proclaimed, ' I think I see some sparkles and a few emerald-green trees in the distance!' Pointing her finger a wee bit to the right.

We ran after her in excitement and not long later we approached the fresh, fruitful, evergreen trees. Though unfortunately, we weren't able to find the Curing Dust which Asia asked for.

'What if we don't find it? We'll let Asia down, then the Nightmarions will take over, and then all of us will have horrible nightmares!' I uttered, discouragingly. But the kind words and smiles of the two twins always made me feel better.

'Pah! We've barely even been searching, Don't worry about the Nightmarions!' Serena said, comforting me while Selena was nodding her head at me after her twin finished her soothing sentence as her shoulder-length, pitch-black hair swung up and down.

After a little bit of searching, we were able to spot a large, single sack of dust placed on a half-cut tree trunk. Beams brightened our faces with delight as we knew that what we had seen was the Curing Dust. We rushed towards it and Serena tried to lift, trying to show her strength, though she was struggling a lot.

'Need a hand?' Selena and I offered, trying not to giggle.

'No, I'm fin- alright, yes I suppose,' she replied, chuckling as well.

The three of us carried the bag of dust and headed back to where we first met the fairies. Once we got there we placed the sack beside the fairies, gave a grin, and just then all the fairies gave a huge squeal of excitement. Once again Asia went forward and told us how thankful she was and in return handed us one gorgeous bracelet for each three of us made with royal blue beads and a little charm ,shaped like a fairy hanging on it.

'Whenever you need help, wear this bracelet and say 'Fairyola!' then one fairy will come to you. Use it wisely and do not let anyone take it from you,' she disclosed.

We hopped with delight, thanked the fairies and decided to head to Serena and Selena's house at last.
