Fantasy Frolics: Episode 2

CHAPTER 5: SETTING OUT FOR THE JOURNEY: 

We walked on the Enchanted Path. Beneath our feet, along the pathway stood. There were some carvings of butterflies on it. "Such a beautiful design!" Julia said, in wonder. "Absolutely!!" I agreed 

"So, where should we head? This path now splits in two directions." Kiya asked. 

"Let's vote!" Julia said, smiling. "No. We can't vote. If the path is wrong, it's going to be really bad. Imagine if we fail in the first mission. The queen will blast like a boom in anger!" I said, frowning. "Yeah! Julia's plans are always stupid!" Kiya said, giggling. 

CHAPTER 6: ATTACK!!!!

We were just thinking about the next step. But, suddenly, some creatures popped out from behind a tree. "Come on, little people, get with the program. You cannot pass from here!!" One of them screeched. "Why? Do you think you're the boss? We won't stop!" Kiya said, moving her hands up and down. 

Julia and I agreed. "Oh really? If you don't stop, we're going to trap you here....forever!!" They said. 

Suddenly, the butterflies which were used as decoration for the pavement came alive. It was a spectacular, yet strange scene. The butterflies started flapping their wings rapidly. And, a vortex of wind whipped up in front of us. We protected ourselves. The butterflies were tiny, but as it is said, one shouldn't be underestimated. The unfriendly creatures were blown away by the vortex. "Thank you so much, kind butterflies!" I thanked. "Hello. My name is Butterwings, and I am the queen. We are magical butterflies!" She said. 

"Can you tell us the next direction? We are confused! We need to go the Time Valley, Lost Timings Hill." Kiya asked. 

"You need to go towards the left." She answered. "And, be careful of the Invi Spies. There are invisible." 

Julia blinked. "How are we supposed to stay careful if we can't even see them?!" 

"You have to figure that out. The ones who can fight the Invi Spies only succeed. They work for Garson the Cruel, whose power is threatening the fantasy world." Butterwings said, smiling. 

"We must get going, Butterwings," I said, turning serious. "Of course! You should!" The Butterfly-queen said. 

CHAPTER 7: PROCEEDING TOWARDS MISSION ONE! 

Then, they disappeared. We started walking ahead. Finally, we saw a sign that read 'Time Valley ahead!' 

We walked more. Soon, we reached.  

Time Valley was indeed a lovely place. "Are we going to meet the Invi Spies here?" I asked. "Maybe," Kiya said, unsure.

Little clocks hung invisibly from the air. 

We desperately looked for Lost Timings hill, so that we could conquer the clock, as told by the queen. "Look! There is Lost Timings Hill!" Julia shouted suddenly.

CHAPTER 8: THE GUARDIAN'S TEST TO TEST US

We proceeded towards the hill eagerly. But, it wasn't time to rejoice. The guardian would try to test us in different ways. In the Time Valley, I spotted a small turtle, whose leg was injured. "Look at this poor little turtle! He is injured! Let's help him!" I said with pity. 

Kiya and Julia agreed. We took out the vial which the queen had given us in the supplies room. We poured a few drops of it on the turtle's leg. Little by little, the wound started healing! But, the very next moment, the turtle disappeared! "Oh no! Was it a trick?!" Kiya asked. Suddenly, a rock proceeded toward us. Huh? A rock?! "Hello. You've passed my test! You're very kind. I am Gorgy, the guardian of the clock." She said, happily. "But, before I can give you the clock, you need to find the encyclopedia of this valley." 

"Yes, Queen Misty told us," I said. "You'll have to find it in three minutes only. Any questions?" Gorgy said. "Can we use special devices?" Kiya asked. "No!" Gorgy replied firmly. 

Gorgy said a few words, and the hill transformed into a hill of sand. 

"Your time starts......now!" Gorgy said, setting the timer on a clock. We struggled to find the encyclopedia. We scooped the sand in our hands and kept it aside, turn by turn. "If we use this method, it's going to be very difficult to find the encyclopedia!" I said, realizing the situation. An idea flashed in my mind. "Okay, we will immerse our hand in the sand. If we feel the encyclopedia, we'll pull it!" 

"Amazing. Let's get to work!" Kiya said. 

"You have two minutes left....." Gorgy informed. 

I immersed my hand, but no luck! I scooped some more sand. Kiya did the same. Julia did too. 

"You have fifty seconds left!" Gorgy informed again. "Oh my god! We need to hurry!" I said, startled. 

Twenty seconds were only left. We tried to find the encyclopedia. Soon, my hand felt something, and I pulled it. It was.......the encyclopedia! 

"Stop!" Gorgy exclaimed, just as the time flew by. "Just in time!" Julia said. I laughed.

"Good. I can give you the clock now!" Godgy said. She handed it to us. "Please keep it safe!" 

CHAPTER 8: THE NEXT MISSION

"What is our next mission, Gorgy?" Julia asked. "Oh yes, of course. You must go to the Fauna and Flora land, and bring exactly seven flowers of the 'Beautyfloraflowers' species." Gorgy told. 

"Please be careful from the Invi Spies!" She warned, and we obeyed her. We went for the next mission in the Flora and Fauna land. 

CHAPTER 9: FLORA AND FAUNA LAND

We walked and walked and walked. Soon, we saw a magical gate. It read, "Gateway to the Flora and Fauna land."

It also had a sign, "Be aware of the Catchy Cactuses." 

"What in the world are Catchy Cactuses?!" I frowned. "Maybe they're the next guardians?" Kiya guessed. "Probably," I responded. 

We entered the gate, full of courage and confidence. We started spinning in a vortex of colourful flower petals and thorns. "We hope you have come with good intentions to the Flora and Fauna land! Otherwise, you will be served with either petals or thorns!" A voice said. 

"What?" Julia asked, confused. "If we don't pass the test, we will be served with petals. In a good way. But, if we don't, we get thorns!" I explained. "Julia never understands anything!" Kiya said, chuckled. "As if!" Julia shouted. "Shush you two!" I shouted back.
