Coffee Date

She went inside the restaurant and looked around. As it is a weekend the coffee shop is all busy and occupied. After two minutes she saw a couple leaving so she went and sat. She took the menu card. “Hi” he said by dragging the chair. “Hi” she smiled. “I am sorry for being late, am struck in tra……” “That’s okay I just came” she cut him off with a cute smile and he was mesmerised by her smile. “Shall we order?” she asked him when he was staring at her. “Yeah” he took the menu card. “Sir order” the boy asked them. “2 coffees with……” he paused and looked at her. “Chocolate ice cream” she said. They both sat silently for a few seconds. “You look beautiful” he said suddenly looking straight into her eyes. “Thanks” she blushed. “This place is nice,” she said looking around. “Me and my friends we regularly come here and we have many memories here,” he said and the boy bought the coffee.

“When did you leave the party that day?” she asked him by sipping the coffee. “I think around 12:30” “that day……” she started talking to him, but he didn’t listen to anything. He was just looking at her. The way she is drinking the coffee, her smile and the way she licked her lips when the ice cream on the coffee touched her lips. He was tempted by every action of her. “helloooo……..are you listening” she waved her hand in front of his eyes. “Yeah of course” he lied. “I am glad I had attended the party last week” “why?” she gave him a questioning look. “I met you” he started flirting. “Really” she smiled. “Yeah am bored, the only time I enjoyed was when I met you” his voice is sweet. “You are with your friends and we only met for 10 minutes” she teased him. “No, I tried to distract them as everyone was staring at you” he said with a naughty smile. “What’s the movie name?” She asked him with a teasing tone. “Oh come on” his tone is soft. “You flirted with many girls in the party” “but I didn’t ask anyone for a date” there is a little seriousness in his voice. “Is this a date?” she asked him. “Is this not?” she didn’t answer him but returned him a cute smile. Every smile of hers is making him crazy.

“This is good,” she said by licking the spoon. He smiled by looking at her. “Don’t laugh” her voice his filled with childishness. “Whatever you do, I like it” his smile was bright. His words are making her blush. “What are your hobbies?” she changed the topic. “You really want to know or you just changing the topic” he guessed her intentions. She gave him a nervous smile “it’s getting late I need to go” she said looking at her watch. He doesn’t want her to leave. “Okay,” he said with a disappointment and they both got up and went to the counter. “I will…..” she said when he was paying the bill and stopped by seeing the look on his face.

 “I will drop you” “no that’s okay, bye” she started walking. “Hey wait” he went to her. “Next Saturday same place” he felt nervous by looking at her. He doesn’t want to hear a no from her. “Actually……” she paused. “I will tell all my hobbies on our 2^nd date and I want to make memories with you” his words are cute, flirty but she saw the sincerity in his eyes. “Yes” she looked in to his eyes with a smile.
