My Metro Love

He looked at his watch and walked fast to the nearby metro station. It was peak hours so there was a big queue at the ticket counter. He kept a sad face and stood in the line. He waited for his turn, took the ticket and rushed on the steps. The train just passed by, when he was on the last step. “What the hell?” he thought to himself. He was very much disappointed. With a sad and irritating face, he stood there. After 5 minutes of waiting, he finally got into the train. There was no vacant place to sit as it was already crowded, so he stood near the door leaning on the side. He was randomly looking here and there but suddenly turned back by hearing the giggling sound. There was a group of girls talking, smiling and a girl attracted him a lot.

She was beautiful and he started staring at her. Everything about her was attractive. Her sizzling eyes, tempting smile, shiny lips made him forget everything. He was not caring about anything, he was just looking at her. All the irritation, sadness just vanished by looking at her cute smile. He stared at her the whole journey. He saw many beautiful girls but no one attracted him like her. After 30 minutes of journey she got down from the train and he followed her. He was about to enter the lift and stopped by looking at the station name. he was supposed to get down in the next station. “ahhhh……” he went back and got into the next train. The whole day he thought about her, he was so mesmerized by her.

So the next morning he went to the station at the same time, hopped on the same train, stood at the same place and checked his surroundings. He found the girl and was so happy to see her. Generally, he used to hate the crowded metro journeys, but from that day he was very excited to go on the train to see her and that became his morning routine. Every day he used to find a new charm in her and she looked more beautiful to him. Whenever he looked at the metro he remembered her. He couldn’t forget her charming face.

 It’s been a month he was around her but she didn’t notice him. She was in her world chatting with friends. He never tried to talk to her or go near her, he just felt happy by looking at her from a distance. One morning, to his surprise the crowd in the train was less and there was an empty seat beside her. He went and sat beside her and finally decided to talk. The fragrance of her body was confusing him. He couldn’t speak a word. He tried hard to get out of her charm but nothing helped him. Slowly he recovered from the sweet smell and turned towards her. She got up from her place when he was about to talk. He felt stupid. When she was leaving, she turned back, looked at him, gave him a sweet smile and he fell in love with her.
