Bond

It’s 8 in the morning. He is in his room getting ready. He went into the hall on listening to the doorbell and opened the door. There he saw his girl friend standing in front of the door “What do you want?” he asked his girlfriend. “Move” she pushed him aside and went inside. “Answer me. Is this the way to behave?” he asked following her. “Oh really, you are talking about manners” her voice is filled with sarcasm. “Don’t start now” “you already did” she said taking the keys from the table. “What the hell do you want?” He said with an irritating voice. She showed him the keys and “where the hell were you yesterday?” she asked. “What do you mean?” he asked while folding his hands. “I had called you” she said normally. “I was in the meeting” “I called you like 15 times, can’t you just message me” her voice was calm. “My mobile was in silent mode and why did you call me? You were not talking to me from past 2 days” he asked curiously. “I want my car and the keys are with you. I don………” “Don’t start the car topic again” he interrupted her. “I won’t…. I know you are irresponsible” she started walking. He pulled her by holding her hand. “Can’t you understand, from past 3 days I have been very busy with work even you know that. How can I take your car to the mechanic?” he said with a loud tone. “And you never understand, leave about the car, don’t you remember about the Wednesday night” she questioned him. “Come on….. I said I forgot” “forgot really I was waiting for you all alone and you were boozing with your friends” she told him looking straight into his eyes. “Its office party, I should attend it” he said seriously. “You said you will come early” he didn’t answer her. “I am taking my car” she said. “Do whatever you want” he said and turned back. “Thanks” she went out with tears in eyes.

Both went to work and both were disappointed. Since 2 years they were in a relationship. They are a lovely couple. The pressure in work and the odd timings were making their personal life complicated and they started arguing even on silly things. They were not able to spend time with each other and this was causing the distance between them. Evening it started raining and by 6:30 he came back home from work. He freshened up and switched on the T.V. He was watching a movie but suddenly got up and went outside. Her car was missing. He called her but she didn’t pick up. He tried many times but there is no answer from her. Immediately he went to her house. It was locked and he got worried. His mind was filled with various thoughts. He was scared. He remembered all the things that happened in the morning, the fight and everything. The car breaks are not working properly. She took the car and it’s raining. He was waiting in the sitting area of her house.

After 15 minutes he heard the gate sound. He saw her coming inside all drenched in rain. “What are you doing here?” she asked after seeing him. He didn’t say anything, he just went running towards her and kissed her on lips. His lips touched her soft wet lips. The fear and the tension just vanished with the touch of her sweet lips. It was raining but they didn’t care as they were enjoying the little quality time. “Why were you not picking up your phone?” he asked holding her close. “I am angry with you” she said with a smile. “Are you crazy I am…..” “I am cold shall we go inside” she said shivering.

They both went inside. She gave him the towel and went in her room to change. “Where is your car?” he asked her when she came out of the room. “I gave it to the repair” “why didn’t you tell me, I was so tensed” there was care in his voice. She didn’t reply anything. He pulled her close and touched her cheek “you better pick the call next time” “I love you” she hugged him. “I love you more” he hugged her tightly.
