Arrogant Momo Seller

In the city of Lucknow, there was a momo seller named Dinesh. He was very famous for his momos because they were one of a kind and very tasty. He also had a variety of momos on his menu such as veg momo, chicken momo, etc. He lived in the town with his wife Meena and his parents lived in their village.

Everything was going very nicely, his business of selling momos was going great. But however one day he got a call from his relatives because they wanted to inform him that his parents were very sick and they can't even walk here and there, so he need to come to the village to look after his parents. He told this to his wife Meena and he said: "We need to go to the village to look after my parents". Then his wife said "Oh! That is sad. It's ok if we go to the village but what about your income,what would you do in the village ?" Dinesh said "You don't worry I would do something there". But still Meena was worried about him.

Then the next day they packed their stuff and went to the village. They reached the village after 1 day and then they went to the house of their parents. They entered the house and greeted his parents. Their parents also said "Dinesh what would you do in the village ?" Dinesh said "I would sell momos in the village". Then his parents and his wife said "This business in the village, would not work". Dinesh said "Let's try, I think this business would work here". Everyone agreed but anyone wasn't sure.

Next day he created a stall and started selling momos. But villagers didn't know what is momo so they weren't coming to his stall and were talking among themselves that "what is this Dinesh is selling ?" Dinesh was very upset that people are not coming to his stall. Some days just went like this. So Dinesh decided to meet his friend Mahesh. Then he went to Mahesh's shop and he said"Mahesh why people are not coming to my shop ?" Mahesh said "People don't know what is momo so how would do they come to your shop". Dinesh thanked Mahesh for telling him the answer and then he left. He went home and told this to his wife. His wife said "We should do one thing, we should give momos to the the villagers, free for 2 to 5 days". 

Next day he called the villagers and the villagers tasted the momos and they said these momos are very tasty and they really liked it. Villagers were liking his momos and everyday he had a good income. When his income was increasing day by day,he was becoming greedy and arrogant. He was talking rudely to his customers and he had also changed the price from Rs 30 to Rs 60. One day an old man came to his shop to eat momos and he said "What Rs 60 is too much for one plate of momos". Then Dinesh said "If you want you eat nor you don't eat". 

Because of his rude behaviour villagers weren't liking him at all and because of this customers weren't coming to his shop and his income was decreasing. Then he understood that he was very rude to his customers and was very greedy. He changed the price to Rs 30 again and he talked nicely to his customers.

Moral - We shouldn't be arrogant to anyone or we should be greedy like Dinesh. Though how much success we achieve in our life we should behave nicely to everyone.
