Class Diaries #9 [2023 Rewind]

Hey guys !!! I hope y'all are doing great. I am finally back with the next part of the Class Diaries. In this part, I will just pinpoint some beautiful moments that happened in 2023. Hope y'all enjoy it. 

Note: From this part onwards Class Diaries will not be written in chronological order. I will write it whenever I get time. So I hope y'all get it and now enjoy this one.

January 2023-:

I had a picnic in my old school around this time. It was truly mesmerizing and amazing. I was with my friends and teachers and I was kinda sad because it was my last picnic in my old school but I knew someday I would have to move on and I guess that day had come. Overall, I really enjoyed the picnic and I will always cherish these moments forever. 

February 2023-:

At this time, annual exams of the 7th class were going on. I was kinda sad because it was my last time in my old school. I had so many memories there and I will certainly never forget these wonderful moments. I still remember, after completing the last exam, all my friends gathered in the corridor and they had arranged a small farewell for me. I was so overwhelmed by their actions. Also, I took a walk to our class and the whole school. As I did this, a surge of feelings rushed within me and I became a little emotional at that moment but yeah I certainly felt better having my friends by my side. It's one of the golden memories which will be in my heart till my last breath and I will certainly cherish it for the rest of my life. 

March 2023-:

In March, I finally got enrolled in my new school. I was partly excited as well as partly nervous for my first day at the new school. According to many forums and real-life experiences of people, 99.9% of students don't have a great time on their first day in a new school. But I am being honest here with y'all, I really had an amazing experience on my first day. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Even the teachers made sure that I wasn't being left out in classroom activities. It truly overjoyed me and I certainly felt more comfortable with them. Again, it's one of those memories that will stay with me till the end of my life. 

April 2023-:

Nothing really special happened. Our school's foundation day was on 6th April and a programme was held for the same. I had participated in the dance performance with some of my friends. I had a great time with them after all and everyone also complimented me on my dance, and I was kinda flustered by it but yeah it was a successful programme. I really seemed to enjoy my time in school. Definitely, it was a great month for me. 

May and June 2023-:

Finally time for summer vacations !!! I did some holiday homework and went on a small trip to Bhubaneswar. It was quite an adventurous journey and one of my favorite moments this month. That's all for this one. 

July 2023-:

It was finally my birthday month !!! Eventually, I was kinda nervous about distributing chocolates in the school but to my surprise, everyone wished me enthusiastically and I had an amazing day. Also, I had PT-1 exams at the end of the month, so I was busy preparing for them. And yeah that's it for this month. 

August 2023-:

So, PT-1 results were out and I was quite surprised as I scored full marks in all subjects. Well, I did expect good marks but this was literally just wow, and I was really overjoyed by it. After the declaration of the results, most of the subject teachers seemed to recognize me as a bright student. And of course, I was happy about it. It's just that, most of the teachers in my old school praised me for my studies and other activities and I was used to all of this; and when I changed schools, suddenly everything became different and obviously I wasn't noticed as a good student as I was a newcomer. But after the results were out, I got a lot of recognition in the class and it truly awakened a sense of pride in myself. And it's definitely one of the best things that happened to me this year. 

September 2023-:

Now I was kinda liking my school and I seemed to enjoy my time more there. And between all this chaos, I found a really good friend there. Not to mention she is a K-pop stan and loves listening to K-pop. And I think this was one of the factors, as to why she became a close friend of mine. As she is a hostel student, she can rarely watch K-pop and other stuff, so we would always have a little conversation about it and then we would just catch up on some random stuff. And I realised, in this process we became really great friends. I am really grateful to God for having a true friend like her. By the way, she also has a Storymirror account (@sahexplic_04..); she doesn't write much content but you can still check out her profile. Well, that's certainly all for this month. 

October 2023-:

Nothing much happened at school, I was just occupied with studies and exams. But yeah in the Puja Vacations, I went for a little trip around the town. And it was really great. I guess, October was one of the most boring months for me in 2023. Well, I think that's it for this one. 

November 2023-:

In our school, we have an "activity" period, in which we are encouraged to do co-curricular things like singing, dancing, writing essays, giving speeches and debates etc. So, one day we had to give a speech on the topic "Corruption" and I really looked forward to all these activities so I definitely had to participate. Class 7th and 8th students were present in the hall, and the teachers started to call the students' names one by one for the speech. When it was finally my turn, I was a little nervous to speak but still, I spoke confidently about corruption. After finishing my speech, I was really overwhelmed by the claps and encouragement coming from the students and teachers. After the event was finished, it was declared that I got first prize in it. Well, it was not supposed to be any type of competition but it was announced later that the students who will show exceptional talent in the activity period will be given some sort of prize in January 2024. And I felt proud of myself for getting this prize. Not only that but many teachers who didn't teach in our class, seemed to recognise me and words really couldn't express my happiness at that moment. It was definitely one of the most beautiful and significant moments in my school life. 

December 2023-:

It was finally the last month of 2023 and guess what guys, we are gonna have our school's annual function on 24th December. And to be honest, I didn't study a bit that month as at school all the students were busy preparing for the event and I had also taken part in dance, also I was the anchor for our class dance; so I had double responsibilities on my back and I couldn't really focus on studies for a while; guess what, nobody in school could really focus on studies for that certain period of time. But it was truly a mesmerizing experience; it was fun to practice together and conduct the event. I really enjoyed my time at the annual function and honestly, I think if I hadn't changed my school then I couldn't really experience all this; and certainly I didn't regret my decision to be in this school. It turned out to be a total paradise for me and I am grateful to God for giving me these wonderful moments in my school life. And that's certainly the end of the year 2023.

I hope y'all loved it and for me, it's been a great year. A life-changing year, 2023 because I got to know about new things and experienced something mystical and magical that I didn't feel before.
