A Worn Out Travel
I was travelling through a gloomy path by train. I was supposed to reach Beijing by 12:30 on Monday afternoon. But I did not reach in the way I planned earlier.
The train gradually started wobbling. At one point it wobbled too much that I shifted my place each time it wobbled. Suddenly, I heard an obtrusive noise. I glimpsed out to check what happened. The train conductor informed us that the train broke down and requested us to get down. I thought the train will be repaired soon.
But, that was not the case. Hours passed by, but there was no chance of getting the rain repaired. I decided to go look for help. A doctor and a mountaineer joined. We were stuck at the foot of a mountain. We informed the driver and set off.
The place seemed to be a deserted forest. We heard sounds like the roaring of the lion, the chirping of the birds and the rustling of the trees. As we went deeper, there were tall Redwood trees and cut-down logs from the trees. These were signs that civilization is nearby. But we were disappointed to find a mountain at the end.
The mountaineer taught us how to climb the mountain. We quickly learnt and started climbing up the lofty mountain. When we were halfway through, I felt as if I cannot move again. But my friends (doctor and mountaineer) encouraged me. As we were nearing the top, a large rock came tumbling down. I could not change my place as swiftly as the rock. The rock crushed my leg and continued falling down. I wailed in pain as the doctor did first aid.
We managed to reach the top. But, yet again, we were disappointed to see a huge spread of forest beyond the mountain.
