Once upon a time, there lived two, young and inseparable friends named Nancy and John. They never fought with each other. Simon, another boy, was jealous of their friendship. He never got any friends because he wasn't very friendly. He was busy hatching a plan to separate Nancy and John.

One day, Simon walked toward Nancy and suddenly fell down. He was wearing a fake wound patch. He started crying. 'What happened, Simon?' Nancy rushed to him and asked. Simon showed the fake wound to Nancy and she believed him. She said, 'I'll bring the first aid kit.' While Nancy was treating him, Simon asked 'Nancy, do you know that John has a friend even closer than you?' Nancy replied, 'Well, I guess he wants more friends.' Simon said, 'I think he doesn't want to be a friend of you anymore.' Nancy was shocked. The day ended.

The next day, when class was going on, Nancy heard someone say,' I want ice cream.' She looked at the classroom. No one was speaking. Again, the same thing happened. This time she saw that John was dreaming. She came to the conclusion that John was dreaming but Nancy can hear him. She was thinking of what Simon said the other day. John, who was sitting before Nancy, heard her thoughts and was shocked. He thought 'How can I hear what Nancy thinks and why does she think that I don't want her friendship anymore?'

This was also read by Nancy. The bell rang. John pulled up his courage and went to Nancy. He explained the situation that he does want to be a friend of hers and also that it was Simon's plan to separate them. On hearing this, Nancy was relieved and happy.

Moral: Never judge a situation without investigation
