Turning into a human

George, the gorilla grew up in a zoo. More than anything in the world, he wanted to be human. One day, he dug a tunnel from his cage to the outside of the zoo. He escaped through the tunnel. One of the guards saw George escaping from the zoo. The guards chased him. 

George met a kind scientist named Fred. George was not able to talk to Fred. So, he used sign language to tell Fred that the zoo guards are chasing him. George expressed his wish to turn into a human to Fred. Fred allowed George to stay in his home. The scientist gave George a potion. George drank it. To his surprise, George turned into a human. George, the human, was very happy. He was able to speak like humans.

‘Where do you come from?’ asked Fred. ‘I am from the zoo,’ replied George, the human. ‘Why don't you stay with me?’ asked Fred. ‘Yes, I was about to ask the same. I will stay with you.’ George and Fred live happily together.
