Saved At Last!

  Colter, Valer and Denita were playing in the park when they heard something yowl, they thought it was a street cat. Then when they heard the same yowl repeatedly for a long time, we looked around. Valer found a poor little kitten on the highest branch of a coconut tree nearby.

They immediately called the elders nearby. They used the ladder. Denita climbed up the ladder and gently took the frightened kitten in her arms. At first, the kitten hesitated, then it climbed on Denita's back. The others slowly lowered the ladder so that it will be easy for her to get down.

  

Colter gave water and milk to the kitten. It drank the water to its full and rubbed itself against Denita's hand. Denita guessed that the kitten thanked them. The kitten then started to search for its mother. Just then a worried cat came towards them. Both the cat and the kitten were joyful when they saw each other. They walked into the nearby field together. All the elders appreciated Colter, Valer and Denita for alerting them about this issue. The three thanked the elders and skipped back home.
