You left me alone
You left me alone
It was a bright sunny day
When I was chasing down you
And you were running away.
I called your name but you did pay
No heed although you knew I was running towards you
But you were racing away from me.
As I was running,
Running after you
My feet were burning
The cruel sand was causing
All the pain and the sun were laughing
At me.
The gusty wind roared
Like a monster growled,
It tried to dehort,
As it wanted me to deport.
Still, I didn't think to quit
But the wind was smarter and continued the assault.
Came with a weapon
The Dassault this time
Like the firing of shells
It fired sands on me
As I was watching you moving away from me.
Slowly I started feeling debilitated
Losing all my strength
To the beast called a gale.
My legs did tremble
Nerves became numb
You were slipping and I was dumb.
The gale had won
As I was down for the count
Although knocked out
I could see you left me alone.
I opened my eyes
As I regained consciousness
There was utter darkness
And the night was also merciless.
Freezing my blood
And I was chilled
In the chilling cold
That scared me away
As you have already left me halfway.
It was that day
I couldn’t realize whether did I lose you on the way,
Or you left me alone through midway?
