And replied taking out his hat,
“I keep mum

I was stunned by his response
Looked at him with flabbergasted eyes.
But he was still smiling at me
Again I asked the reason for his smile.

That I have stitched to my face
Like a joker in a circus.”
Surprised by the answer
I offered him gold
In exchange of
The mask that cost him null.
“Neither can it be bought
Nor can be sold
Value more than gold.
Strived to search for the value of a smile
Found it priceless
And glued it to face.”
This was the answer
So hypnotic and magnetic
That made me catatonic
Or aphonic and I stopped questioning...
