Where Shadows Fall

Where Shadows Fall

Beneath the skies once calm and blue,
Now echoes rise in mournful strain,
Where laughter lived, the silence grew,
Replaced by cries and crimson stain.

A moment's peace, a breath, a smile—
All shattered in a flash of flame. The heartless hands that kill defile The human soul, and earn no name.

They strike not just the flesh alone, But break the hearts of those who stay—
A child now lost, a mother gone,
A dream dissolved in disarray.

The bloom of life, so swift to fade, Its petals crushed by hate's cruel feet,
Yet none can weigh what they have made—
No victory lies in this defeat.

What glory found in shattered homes?
What honor stands in bloodied lands?
This earth is not a place for tombs Built by our own, with our own hands.

Let not our grief turn into stone— Let love arise where hate has bled. For we are more than skin and bone,
We live through love, not fear or dread.

Let hearts unite, not break apart, Let mercy be the light we give.
Let peace take root in every heart— And let us love, and let us live.
