Cyclone
Cyclone
O merciless cyclone!
Where are you?
Why did you extinct our hopes?
You evinced your supremacy
Through the trail of devastations
But ultimately you shattered our lives
We are the innocent people who
Only know working like an ox
And cultivating something for survival
We don't exploit nature,
We never compete for wealth, status
We never pollute the environment for pleasure
But you always ruin our pertinent efforts
Our mere means of sustenance
Why do you show sympathy for the culprits?
We bear the brunt of your wrath
Yo
u mingle our tiny dreams with the dust
Everywhere there is lamentation, agony,
Screaming of desperation
Your astounding journey stopped our journey of life
The plight of people has killed the spirit
To restart our expedition to cultivate
If you Know justice
Then compel God to instill hopes
Among all and erase the bitter memories, nightmarish experiences
From the broken hearts
Renovate the dilapidated houses
O cyclone!
Please don't try to ruin our tiny dreams
Because these are the mere avenues
To ensure our survival.
