An ambitious father

My inquisitive eyes were wandering hither and thither 

Body was shivering as the bone chilling weather was kissing me

The cold breeze was around me to excacerbate the pain of my wet heart

Amid that severe cold and darkness I explored that a cane was leaning against a tea shop

I got amazed exploring the shivering hands

Steam was emitting from the saucepan

 An enthralling fragrance was coming out of the hot tea

When I gazed at that pale face having multiple wrinkling

My eyes became full of tears

Despite having all meticulous efforts I could not hold my tears

I asked to the old man, " Do u need a blanket in this severe cold"?

He smiled and answered, " This cold can't beat me as I have to earn money and make 

my son an officer"?

I was completely flummoxed listening the grave voice 

Witnessing the adventure on his face to deal with all adversities

And invincible willpower to meet challenges

I could understand the aspiration of a father

But we children never understand the pain of fathers

Abd become rude when they need our love and warmth

They face ignorance, abandonment and the solitude of old age home

Seeing the optimism and strength on his face I was dumbfounded

And turning my face from him I started to cry bitterly

As someone was telling inside my heart

"Come back my dear, I want to see you".
