Where It is Enough
Where It is Enough
There are two pathways and I'm pondering over them,
Wishing with my deepest heart that the one I'm choosing is right.
Though neither of them seems to have the desired outcome,
One of them seems to be the better choice to cure my plight.
The one road I truly want appears to be blocked,
I can count on my thoughts to build me another one.
Part of me thinks I'm the reason that door is locked,
While the other part blames it for every other possible reason.
Through the end of it all, I'll have what truly matters,
I'm glad I found my diamonds in the rough.
The diamond is the constant in all my endeavors,
Because through every failed quarry, that's enough.
