Missing Out
Missing Out
I never knew what I was missing out on,
Until I somehow found it.
It's hard to believe the dusk that was replaced by dawn,
When you didn't even know you weren't the misfit.
When you're a mirrorball showing others their faces,
Reflecting the kind of humor everyone likes.
And you don't even come to know about all the missed out places,
It's weird to not have to change everything to fit the type.
It's finally nice to have meaningful silences,
And the deep conversations that I haven't ever before.
It's going to be short-lived, but not about alliances,
Though it'd be nice if it were to last forever and more.
