The Steps

Spent my life thinking it was bad for me,

Now I gladly stand corrected. 

For all the things that we used to be,

I gave another chance to what had been neglected.

Every embrace means something different,

And the feeling of seeing through your glassy thoughts.

For all your knowledge about my preference,

Have all my heartstrings tied in knots?

Found something to hang on to forever,

And I mean every word I say.

In the end, I don't think the show even matters,

Because all the steps show me the way.
