THE TWELVE HUMAN ALIENS

THE TWELVE HUMAN ALIENS

6 mins

The first one of the zodiac

Named Marvellous Machiavelli’s

Blowing Meerschaum pipes

 Exceptionally delightful

Had stars on his antennae

He was from Mars

Preferred brawn and muscles over brains

Sometimes even brains to go hand in hand

He thought they were wishy-washy though

Whilst dames were fiery

With wit to shock

Called Shocking Pansies

And practically like darts

Zipped by with their propellers

Here and there

The knights in shining Armour

And their femme fatales

From Planet Mars

The second one of the zodiac

Human Aliens

Old stubborn bulls

With horns of course

From planet Venus

Were materially rich

With an abundance of fiery logs

In their cosy hearth

Loved they to just snuggle

With their alien partners

Whether they be from moon

Mars or even Jupiter

It just didn’t matter

If all they got

Was a warm cuppa chocolate

And crackers to go with it of course

The bulls in a china shop

Called Taureans

The third one of the zodiac

Was Geminian Alien

He or she twins

To be correct describing these

One with a bulb

And one with a balloon

You’d wonder what for

An idea so good to solve every problem

Whilst a balloon to help you ease

Your troubles

And lighten up your day

From planet Mercury

As a mercurial barometer

They just wouldn’t allow

The dip in their thermometers

Just like air and temperature

Varying they

In mood, spirits and gaits

The fourth alien of the zodiac

Would be angel Cancerians

With halos

A mighty clasp of monkey plier claws

 Snap of their fingers

Would woo you simply

Because they’re crabs of the zodiac

Ruled the moon of course

They smile a fairy grin

Of Cheshire puss even

As they sailed their boats

Ferrying dreamily and happily

Down Rivers of No Return

For they like Moon aliens

Would take you in a rocket

Full with astronauts

Zipping across

Once in a while astronomers

Viewed with rosy lorgnettes

Called Telescopes

Binary end of Alice in Wonderlands

Kaleidoscopes of Fairy wings!

The fifth alien of the Zodiac

Would be Leo’s

They came from enigmatic Sun

Would repel you with blinders

As a horse wears one

If you tried to go against rules

Of their orderly run

From humour to satire

Of prose and literature

They’d startle you

With roars of laugher

And a tinge of sadness too

As if they were red hot poker clowns

Named Jousters of Pun

The kings of the jungle

Majestically called Lions

With a mane of fiery flames on them

Shall turn hairs on end

Even Goose Pimples!

The sixth alien of the Jungle

Would be Virgoans

From planet other side of Mercury

They too stand for logic and precision

Unlike their Gemini friends

Who love wit and sarcasm

Though jovial and jouster jesters Geminians

These counterfeit aliens

One for two

Or two for one

Were rational with a keen judgement

As one hath passed on Judgement Day

Woe to men

Better change and repent!

Both were talented of course Gemini’s and Virgos

Whilst the Virgoans

Were subtle and critiques

Could judge a jug from a flower

Without a sip or a whiff

What beauties lay inside a human heart

Without flaws of course

The virgin aliens of the universe

Virgos

The seventh aliens were

Called Librans

Stood for friendships

And worthy morals beyond streams of lucid dreams

Though really were always with weighing scales

Making sure they didn’t get too heavy

Or light

With conscience

It would kill if it hurt them

Not even a fly

Could defeat as they balanced scales

So very well

Left and right hemisphere

From planet Venus

That stood for beauty, grace and balance!

The eighth aliens were

Scorpions

From tother ended planet

Mars, their fiery friends Aries

Opposites of course

These subdued beasts of gore, Scorpions

Literally in jest I suppose

Were tender hearted and caring even

Though they wore a hub cap

Of steel with a poisonous sting

Lit with tinder their match heads

A sandy desert with flames of sparks

And sky their easel like glistening kites

One could never measure

The heights of ‘Nirvana’

They could achieve

Such molten lava

Could they erupt

Were good old jolly Scorpions

Sometimes even coming from Planet Pluto

Standing for regeneration, transformation and rebirth

Of course!

The ninth aliens

Were from the planet Jupiter

Y’see they were friendly Archers

The Sagittarians

Half horse and half human beings

But always with bow and arrow

Just to prove to all

They had a “Humerous Bone”

And could tackle misfortune

Bravely shining their hoofs

Sometimes like moose

Up steepest cliffs

With a jovial beat

And a click

The funny Sagittarians

Called “Robin Hoods”

The tenth aliens

Were from the planet Saturn

With its many rings of allure

They were practical beings

The Billy goat gruff of the universe

Would they definitely move

To greener pastures

And take along with them

Their mates

Hoping one day to turn

Hay to gold

Spinning their spindles

Of ‘Rumpelstiltskin’

Such were leprechauns

Of this delightful planet

Be sure to guess correctly their names

Or they’d steal your one precious thing

Hamstrings

You’d crawl instead of walk erect

They’d make it already to the top

Of rungs of ladders!

Capricornians

Though you’d complain of corn cobs on toes

The eleventh aliens

Would be the water bearers

With a jug of course

The Aquarians

From planet Uranus

These nymphs their jugs would

Never run dry

Freely flowing gurgling streams

And rivulets

Would fall like fountains

And water falls

Down their magic jugs

Hoping to bring new inventions

And new ideas

In just an out of the box

 Out of the ordinary Experience

Life on earth here would

Never be dull

With propellers

Such aliens wore

They’d call in fun

‘Aliens Ursula’s’ and ‘Arabesques Unique’

The twelfth aliens

Would be the dreamy fishes

Pisceans

From the planet Neptune

These ethereal mermaids

From Nebula wore wings

With antennae

So stupendous

Could find missing things

Treasures beneath sea

Preciously swimming two directions

They pleased

One up

And one down

If you believe in Sweet dreams

These ones would help you reach stars

By their protective feathers

Around you all the time

The mermaids with wings

I suppose

To better call them

‘Guardian Beulah’s of Mother Earth’

So my alien friends

As you all know now

What planets you come from

All I can say

Use your talents to the fullest

Without depleting your reservoir

And give a handy escort

To those who just

Began climbing

Up the Milky Way ladder

To reach stars propelling beyond

Comets and meteorites

So like you

They’d be 12 mesmerising ‘Human Aliens’

All from a humane Planet

Named Earth
