THE BIGGEST PLAYER OF ALL

Fact is stranger than fiction, so they in all say, 

 But then yes, most lives do act out like a screen play. 

We are but mere puppets in the hands of our director,

It is HIS wish how he fleshes out a particular character! 

All characters may be fictitious in the enacted dramas,

But the stories are mainly based on real life traumas.

We are as good or bad as HE makes us to be,

Without HIS direction, we are all out at sea.

HE makes us laugh or wallow in sorrow,

And it is HE who sometimes make us live as if there’s no tomorrow.

HE enriches our lives with so many experiences,

That in one lifetime we go through all the circumstances.

Happiness, grief, loss and heartache are the emotions HE plays with, 

That we control our destiny is a man made myth.

HE created all of us for his eternal entertainment,

And we have all lapped up to the sport to his amazement.

Life is a fictitious game, we should all understand,

Which is played out on a stage very grand.

We are but pawns in HIS large hands,

Which whenever HE wants, he just disbands!
