Our Moon Mission

Here we landed on the moon

There the universe went into a swoon!

India’s moon mission jolted the world,

As on 23rd August,on the moon our flag unfurled!

World was left agape at India’s success, 

The scientific body was left particularly impressed!

Chandrayan had landed on the yet unconquered South Pole,

Our researchers had worked hard to reach this visionary goal! 

A billion voices cheered this technological feat,

As Vikram softly landed on its feet!

Hovering over the surface for a minute or two,

It then quietly descended and scored a coup! 

 Pragyan rover is now firmly entrenched on the moon’s soil,

Imprinting our National Emblem and ISRO logo as it toils,

India’s indelible marks will be preserved for billions of years,

As with no atmosphere and low winds, nothing ever disappears! 

It is a giant leap for India’s space programme,

Entry into the exclusive club is our grand slam!

Chandrayan -3 mission is our pride and joy,

It’s a moment for us to savour and truly enjoy!
