The Bachittar Natak

This epic by Guru Gobind Singh

Gives an account of conditions,  

Faith's and rituals of the time

And gives reason of his coming

He tells that God ordained him

To tell the misled people of world

About the omnipresent God 

Who is not in rituals and statues

All the saints and incarnates sent

Sent earlier onto this Earth to 

Erase and finish the sinful ways,

Attached mankind to themselves

Guru Gobind Singh writes that

If anyone calls him god, God or

God incarnate , would be doomed,

He calls himself a servant of God

He adds furthermore that he

Beholds His grandeur everywhere

And would endeavor with grace of 

Almighty who never dies, to glorify it

Thus Guru Gobind Singh was sent

By the supreme power Almighty

To tell humanity about  truthful living,

Love, humility, equality, service and justice.
