Twinkling stars

Bring joy

To the keen observer

Take away the thoughts

Bring stillness to mind

Sort of a meditation

Same way  the flowers,

The butterflies,

Long distant mountains

Lush green fields

Ripe golden crop

Are scenes of joy

Add to these

All things of beauty

Get lost in watching these

With full heart into it

As a gift from nature

Joy will well up

Natural bounties

We count not

In our routine

To find joy

And try to seek it

In things mundane

Joy is there

In creation and creativity

Idlers miss it

Shirkers  catch it not

Those who serve the humanity

Know it and spread it

Positivity of mind

Sincerity of heart

Adeptness at skill

Patience to complete 

The task at hand

All's imperative to joy
