Summer

The dewy grass shines under the blithe sun,

and all is bathed in an aurous glow!

The joyous people and the jovial kids,

the summer day gets hot and fiery!

This season is coruscating and blissful!

The blue skies, the warm waters 

and the lush green trees.

The ambrosial blooming flowers

and the fresh evening breeze 

adding conviviality to the usually gloomy days!

Yet, sometimes the atrabilious Sun does make me ambivalent!

I live for the beauty and cheer summer days bring!

A season devoted to leisure

and good times with the people you love!

Sleeping in till noon, laying by the shimmering pool,

carefree and endless fun on beautiful sunny days, 

is what summer means to me!

Scrumptious mangoes, colourful popsicles, 

beach visits, sleepovers and infinite joy!

Summers are a time of excitement and 

an enhanced enjoyment of life!

Somehow summer seems ephemeral!

I wonder if it is true for all things bright and beautiful!

So… enjoy, seize, make memories,

love, laugh and live Life to the fullest!
