Fire

You roar with the utmost rage,

and destroy everything you touch.

Are you evil? Or are you misunderstood and

destroy evil only to fill the world with good?!

You are pretty when you dance 

 and tantalizingly dangerous as well.

Oh! What will you do next?

You are stupendously spontaneous!

Icy hot and raging within the

burning embers of coal,

You fume and smolder as

your gorgeous hair of red and yellow glow!

As you sway from side to side

you clean the forest floor of debris,

opening it up to sunlight!

You leave behind your sign, 

those trails of thick black smoke,

and a burnt offering of ashes!

You swallow up the night and 

take away the dark for new light.

You are auspicious and spiritual,

you create and destroy!

As you lose the oxygen to keep you alive,

fighting, surviving, growing 

dimmer and losing your shine;

Just as you are about to fade into the darkness

You roar with the utmost rage!
