Air
Air
You softly glide swaying from side to side,
In a shapeless form you gust,
Whispering your mellifluous cries!
You are free and moving,
You are something, flames can’t destroy.
You are so inconsistent!
Your gales grow calm,
And your tornadoes run their course with mighty power!
You erode the earth, blow out fire and evaporate water.
You stay all year long, you are the first sign of life!
Your breeze at dawn has secrets to tell,
You are so pure, beyond compare!
You settle, beneath the wave of water,
You constantly move,
With the clouds moving to seek the sun.
You push away the clouds and expose the sun,
You collide them together and make their tears drop down!
You throw the kites into the sky,
You make the forest trees rustle and sing.
The pine trees toss you their cones,
The daisies bend down in curtsy!
The leaves susurrate welcoming you!
You change like the seasons,
From sharp and cold, to pleasant and fresh,
To humid and moist, to crisp and chill!
You are the Elixir of Life!
