I woke up from deep slumber,

With a soul basking in serenity,

Drenched in shades of amber,

Lay the entire vicinity,

Decked up to ring in the day.....

Nature in her resplendent hues,

Sponges out exhaustion,

Boosting up tormented morales,

Binding hearts in unison,

Keeping woes at bay...

Admiration fills my being,

For the ultimate artist,

Dabbing on a vast canvas,

Spraying colours with gusto,

Emancipating us from monotony......

Perched majestically for aeons,

A dazzling, blushing bride,

Framed against the horizon,

Brewing zeal and good_natured pride

The crimson sun leads all the way...

Soaking in a glittering ambience,

Lay a carpet of sunflowers,

Gleaming heads held aloft,

Gyrating to tunes ever so soft,

Golden yellow makes my day.....

Scattered beyond sight,

A vast blanket of fluffy clouds,

Reminding one of God's might,

Deep oceans mirroring azure skies,

Blue, blue.it engulfs you...

Bridging heavens and earth,

Curving with astounding precision,

A trial run of a divine palette,

Brightening up a gloomy sky,

A kaleidoscopic perfection in situ...

A perfect blend of shades,

A prismatic extravaganza,

Gloom and morosity,

Metamorphose into cheer and gaiety,

Moments morbid and dull,

Shed their characteristic lull...

Colours, so varied and bright,

Inconceivable, the very notion,

Of a world devoid of them,

Oh! but its faintest probability,

Sucks out the soul of imagination......
