Relaxing after a day's turmoil,

I glanced down over the railing, 

A huge delicate pebble,

Floated below the awning...

A trip filled with fascination,

Into days long gone,

Moments devoid of tension,

Pain and woes begone.....

Crystal balls flying about,

With bright shades, they gleam,

Doubling as magic carpets,

Holding aloft many a dream...

Wish I were that kid again,

An embodiment of innocence,

Protected and preserved then, 

Without losing its essence.....

Unperturbed by distractions, 

Whizzing past facets many,

A joyride of illusions,

A short, meaningful journey...

Infancy encapsulated, 

From tumultuous surroundings, 

An informed tour, guided,

Set free by destined findings...

Let's ride a bubble,

Impenetrable for a while,

Lose ourselves in a frenzy, 

Of joy, love, and ecstasy......

When finally it does end,

Bursting hopes of eternity,

Gently reminding us to fend,

For ourselves thenceforth...

Come, the moment to descend,

Prepared to take on the world, 

To venture into the unseen arena,

Emerge victoriously, refreshed...
