My True Love For Motherland
My True Love For Motherland
I love my India and its people
with whom I live,
The boundless joy I do get
while waving the national flag,
Really, I can't describe,
The past reminiscences of the freedom fight,
Its horrors and awful sight,
Reverberates in my agonizing heart,
Reminding me my country's past miserable plight,
When I sing my national song
I swell with pride,
More to say, I get exhilarated
While holding the flag at my right-hand side,
The value of independence neither can be bought and sold,
Nor can it be bargained for self interests in lieu of money and gold,
When the fame and glory of our country is enhancing day by day,
We are getting involved in mud slinging and fragmenting to damage it by unfair way,
The hostile neighbours are being unfriendly, violent and aggressive,
To spoil our peace and prosperity,
But alas! We are befooled by their clever diplomacy showing disinterests and insincerity,
When our soldiers are being martyrs,
Is not it a grave concern for us?
Rather we are fighting with each other,
Isn't it very shameful and obnoxious?
Time has come to be alert and think it seriously,
Without love and unity can it be possible to ensure security so easily?
The security of motherland is threatened
by the terrorists and unsocial forces,
Let's take an oath on this Independence day,
To save our motherland getting united in a peaceful way.
