I Love My India

I love my India from the core of my heart,

Even much more than my mother

who loves me more than that,

My mother showed me sunshine on earth,

But my country is my identity,

She provides me food, water and shelter

Even air to take my breath,

Now I am on duty at Ladakh border

To thwart all evil designs of Chinese soldiers,

Their forceful attempts to encroach India by my muscular power,

I don't know why I feel so much exhilarated

With a sense of feeling loyalty and love

For my mother India,

Patriotism is an inner feeling

Unbiased and a spontaneous flow,

That emanates and keeps my face illumined with radiant glow,

Patriotism can neither be bought and sold,

Nor can be negotiated and compromised for money and gold,

My love for the country urged me to become a soldier,

For duty's sake with a sense of loyalty Now, I am at Ladakh border,

My dream is to see my motherland strong And secured with military power,

Well equipped with modern technologies

To face all challenges of warfare.
