Red Wine

In the evening sky,

The rain and sun played hide and seek,

People counted the spaces for one gigantic leap,

A sip of coffee and a heap of memories,

Properly packaged to be consumed by the masses,

This time could be yours and mine too,

Behind the dark corridors, faded jeans and fresh red wine,

In the cosmos nothing fails the moist eyes,

Where stories give rise to more stories,

And songs touch the fathom of ocean,

And we watch from a distance:

Unable to understand when you stepped in and I stepped out,

And when the pod of life sprout,

To give vibrancy to mugged up lines,

That reside beneath the curtain, beside the table and in the wardrobe,

When nothingness, brings something,

The lightning before the bulb,

The wheel before the chariot,

The stone before the sculpture,

And love before anything else!
