My Dear Teacher
My Dear Teacher
From the day I became a toddler,
I have known just two,
One is my mother,
The other is you.
My dearest twos, you’ve taught me how to learn,
You’ve taught me how to play,
You’ve taught me how to be concerned,
You’ve taught me how to pray.
Many times I discerned your plans,
But you lovingly guided me to mend myself,
And today I stand here a confident child,
All thanks to your personality grooming plans.
From a sapling to a tree is my journey,
And you, my teacher, have nurtured me,
You’ve taught me hardwork is the key,
To make me what I dream to be.
With a special gift for learning,
And a heart that deeply cares,
You add a lot of joy,
To everything you share.
You, my teacher,
Have no idea how much,
You’ve changed the world,
With every life you’ve touched.
You are such a special person,
That no words can truly tell,
You’ll be remembered till eternity,
For the most generous work you do so well.
