Soliciting For Peace
Soliciting For Peace
Something within is crying,
Not for justice, but for peace,
Peace for the heart that never stopped trying,
And the prize she got, she is never at ease.
They all say it is her flaw,
She couldn’t bind the beads together,
Who knows she was that thread which was holding herself strong,
so that the beads wouldn’t break.
She’s broken, she’s alone, But she’ll never stop smiling,
For there’s one bead left for whom she is toiling,
And one day she will be happy to rely,
Cause the bead will be her wings to fly.
