Earthen Womb
Earthen Womb
Within her fecund womb; perches mine naive soul,
Brimming with desires. I swim thru' the bowl
Of panacea; the catholicon of time like a flurry,
Adorn mine window glass and burry
All melancholic gangrenes of the past.
Below the layers of thickets; into the ivory dust,
Let mine breaths nestle in joy forever,
Midst a tryst with another brook, another river
That washes past my sins from bygone dales,
Purging the casket of my soul amid the gushing gales.
O the idol of charity; some words for thine
I must proclaim; the cerulean rendezvous benign
To mine eyes proffers me the reason to dance,
O'er thy bare chest and thy soothing countenance.
For years as I've seen thou embower e'ery soul,
As I stood witness to those ludic moles
Celebrating their elfin lives in thy arms,
Drenched in the warm elixir of thy matriarchal charms.
Let e'ery palm surrender to thy calmness divine,
And worship neath thy aurora wearing thy shine.
