Adios Amigos

Adios Amigos

Of summers with cerulean horizons; of barren winter nights,

Of sublime autumn mornings grinning in delight,

Of a thousand poesies on pages with prudent insights,

I reminisce a year of happy smiles thru' memories still agleam.

Deadly winds that gnawed for days are still too bleak inside,

Shalt we fall frail or soar thru' clouds; high as a full moon tide?

We shalt break the shackles off and waltz in gleeful pride.

O the beings of eternity! Let the anguish'd flurry fall off like a mournful dream.

Bid 'em adios off as nights and embrace the azure day,

Let new dreams perch in thou as castles that ne'er sway.

Firm to the earth and firm to the winds and firm to the trembling bay,

Let the year with newness rise and flow as a clinquant stream.

Germs of sin shalt be afar and shalt ne'er flaunt their deeds,

The holy Lord must hither return and rebuke the viperous seeds.

Tis an hour to endue each one sans trenchant lust and greed,

And for fate and holy morns; let's hold His hazel beams.

Hours a few and a whole long year must stand behind the lens,

It must behold us walk too gay and traverse e'ery fence.

There's a fulgid sun benign with a glimpse of lush vehemence;

Awaiting footsteps brave fantastic of the crowd that teems.

O like delightful butterflies as men fete the graceful morrow,

Their bygone faces as dull old skin fall back as shades of sorrow.

And a new visage adorn each mole ere they walk off burrows,

Hallelujah!!! Tis a day anew with a novice sky to gleam.

Let each mind hold the words of bards from yonder lands,

And learn to lead the multitude with footsteps bright on sands,

Let nay men so buoyant as leaves float o'er garish bands,

Of new duties let all ponder; the onus must rein o'er whims.
