Nightmare

Nightmare

My sleep wasn't peaceful

Nightmares followed me like a shadow

With a sense of emerging

From the world of dark,

In the haunted places

Where I traveled alone.

Though betrayed by the vagaries of life

I kept my eyes wide open,

But it didn't scare me

Instead inspired a lot

To be brave and bold.

The nightmare forced me

Kept me awakened

With a pounding heart,

As the tough life forced us

To be awakened.

Many people wish not to sleep

Because of the fear of nightmares.

Some people wish to sleep

To enjoy the same.
