Blind Silhouette

Blind Silhouette

To thy lanes; twisted and unfolded into roads,

Running forth like a shimmering reverie.

For; a silhouette that quaffed thy odes,

Since ever thou livest in my memory.

Dreams of bygone times as thou see'st,

Sheltered my shadow with great delight.

Neath morning lights thru' east to west,

It wandered lonely as a barren night.

Oh, how sad must those musings be!

For, the shadow could but feel 'em all.

Concealed thru' nights; it spoke to me,

Anguished verses of a wounded soul.

Thou livest with memories to me pertaining,

Ever since this world, I've left.

My shadow in the hush of cloudy mornings,

Watched thou weep by the mountain cleft.

I've seen the halo from the surreal paradise,

The smiling Aurora's wings so flapped;

Proffering castles whence my immortal eyes,

Beheld the corporeal being too whapped.

As I'm a silhouette of the past,

No tears could drench my naked skin.

But I'm thy savior thru' the dust,

From evil souls that yearn to win.

Oft thru' silent roads as thou tread,

Do feelest thou a blind silhouette swaying?

Do hearest thou few words quietly said?

Perhaps they'll remain forever as an obscure saying.
