When Winter Speaks

When Winter Speaks

1 min

When winter speaks, the world turns still,

A hush descends on vale and hill.

Its breath, a whisper, cold and light,

Frost-kissed mornings, silver night.

The trees, stripped bare, yet proud they stand,

Their limbs etched white by winter’s hand.

Each branch a tale of patience weaves,

Beneath the weight of crystal leaves.

The rivers pause, their voices mute,

Beneath a frozen, glassy suit.

But in the silence, secrets hum,

Of spring’s soft promise yet to come.

When winter speaks, its tone is clear,

A call to rest, to draw things near.

A time to dream, to mend, to sow,

What waits beneath the quiet snow.

So heed the whispers, cold and deep,

For winter guards the seeds we keep.

Its frozen tongue, though sharp, conceals,

The tender truths i

t slowly reveals.
