A World Without Technology
A World Without Technology
Imagine a world, serene and still,
Where silence wraps each hill and rill.
No hum of engines, no buzzing screens,
Just nature's whispers, calm and keen.
The sun would rise, unmarked by clocks,
And guide our days with gentle knocks.
The stars at night would brightly gleam,
Unmasked by the city's electric beam.
No phones to ring, no texts to send,
Just voices shared with a trusted friend.
No glowing maps, no instant trace,
Just footsteps lost in time and space.
Fields would stretch, wild and free,
No cables strung from tree to tree.
Letters would fly on winds of thought,
Patience, the virtue progress forgot.
But would we trade all that we’ve gained?
The reach of minds, the knowledge attained?
For in this quiet, tranquil scene,
Would dreams shrink small, or grow unseen?
A world without technology, pure and vast,
Might echo lessons from the past.
Yet we are creatures who invent,
To shape the future our hearts are bent.
So pause and ponder what we create—
A fragile balance is our fate.
For in our tools, the truth must lie:
Not to live
through them, but let them fly.
