Nice To See You Again

It's nice to see you again,

  Oh friend? You perhaps don't recognize,

But I do, just like we met yesterday;

 For a friend like you I never found till today 

Oh! It's so nice to see you again 

  How has life been? In winters and in rain,

Mine passed just a storm before

  And I looked for you in every unfamiliar lane 

I am so glad to see you again

  When did you last visit our garden?

The Garden of memories, where we played

  When I had a friend like you beside my windowpane 

I thought I'd never see you ever,

  When was the last time we went to the river?

Coffee & tea, and fight & dance like insane 

  Come, lets sit and laugh once again

I know that look, you seem worried & hurried,

 Perhaps you have to catch a train

I was about to run to you; ask you to stay a little;

 To forget that we have tons of things to do

And pretend we are kids, once again

But I won't be in your way,

 So, I am just taking another turn

Where our paths won't cross and we won't meet 

 You won't have to struggle to recall my face 

And I won't suffer from your no, once again

It was so nice to see you again

 Thou friend, maybe next time 

I won't see you long before we cross ways

  So we will be forced to smile & talk again
