Silent Love
Silent Love
Our Love is jealous of Friendship
#lovelanguage
The winds silent blow;
Caressing the flowers and leaves of snow,
The skies are silent too
Caring for the earth and you
Silent love always stays that way;
Silent but tumultuous, and never-ending,
But when it hurts, silent love chooses
To rain and colour, the roads bending
We too have a silent love
Such loves that never speaks
But soon she felt jealous of the friendship
That we had, kissed on our cheeks
That love had a lot of patience though,
She tried to stay on her own;
But she felt hurt, when now and so
Friendship could hold hands in pains
But she still remained calm, like waters still
Even she felt terribly jealous when,
Friendship danced in turbulent rains
That love, silent by nature and heart
Yet longing to play her part
That day air knocked out of her lungs
When Friendship got to weep at a song
Till at last in those days,
When she saw Friendship laughing in her arms
The silent love lost her hope
And thought it was time to take reigns
But then, she got scared
Scared of herself, terrified of her own force
Feared hurting us, and her daughter
Friendship, who was her mother too
For Love had grown in her womb without much ado
And so, this stupid silent love,
Fearing of her own strength and wings;
Thinking she would curse a storm,
Instead of heralding springs
And so, so this silent love
Burned herself in her own warm flame,
Reached into the end of her wick and die;
To turn off the light of her name
For she knew well, the oil would never end
And the winds would never comply.
Over the nights, this love surrendered
To the dark, becoming a part of the silent wind
Caressing our hairs, kissing our lips forever
And when Friendship sailed along the sea
She gave herself to the waters of joining the river
Over the days, this love consumed
Herself in the warmth of friendship at last
Lost herself in the dreams of tomorrow
And hid behind the curtains of past
This silent love thus became the rains
That now blossoms our friendship green
She is silent but still there
And will always be, as always had been.
