Winds of an autumn evening
Winds of an autumn evening
Tis isn't often that I forget,
The tons of load to do and set
All I wish to is stand and catch some
The leaves in winds of autumn.
The leaves in winds that are yellow and pink
And petals of flowers red and blue
In the stream they float but not sink
And tell stories of hopes of dew.
The memory blooms and the painfully sweet
Fragrance carried to my own afar dead
Come back to life and repeat to repeat
Hopes and dreams and tears that betrayed.
Yet O winds, I love your autumn twist;

For the flowers of hope planted before,
Now bear the finest fruits of Eden,
And remind me of old stories lore
What more, more do I say of them,
The magic, magic carries me to lands never dreamed;
The love, love To the depths unfathomed,
And the music, a song to fill the soul till brim.
In this season of parting and Goodbye,
Like the river that welcomes fallen leaves,
May my heart open the doors for love,
And when the winds turn cold Thou God,
In Your Blessing my soul beheld by a dove.
