Oxygen, beds, vaccine everywhere there is a dearth

Virus graph rising along with it the death.

Two shots taken yet the virus can lay you low

Threats of lockdown, for the economy, will be a blow.

Twiddling the thumb, feeling numb, leadership quite dumb.

COVID bowled a googly, nation, laid before the virus, quite plumb.
