Words Lift Me

Time in hand, have no magic wand, unable to write

The seed has been sown, yet the mind remains arid and grows no poetry.

Trying one’s might yet no words in sight

Where do they hide, not in my favor the tide. 

Do words feel blue, I have no clue

Do they bloom in some season, sometimes they flood the mind without any reason.

I am glued to the crosswords in search of the words

Some time passes then you don't feel lonely in this world. 

Too cryptic the clue, in the mind I ransack the crypt

How to solve crosswords I came across some scripts. 

In the world outside life is one of rift

I go back into my cocoon for it is the words me they lift. 

Don't mind being a prisoner with a sentence

As long it is made up of words that makes sense.

It's the words that makeup life in its essence. 

I am just being honest, in what I say no pretense.
