Escape Death?
Escape Death?
Oh, thou that seekest to escape death.
Believest thou that thou will?
Where canst thou go dwell
That thou mayest escape death?
Thou goeth east-west, and found, but death;
To the north-south, the same reigneth.
Thou seekest with all thine being,
Yet found no escape wing.
Oh if you'd hear me today!
Prepare thou well to die
That thou mayest escape death;
For there ain’t another way out.
Nevertheless, know this:
Death is swallowed up in victory;
The grave has lost her hegemony;
If only thou be in Christ Jesus.
