I Am

I am an open book, 

Everyone says it having a look.

Flipping pages of my life,

Never did they learned how I managed to strive.

Every expression flaunts effortlessly on face,

Uncontrollably marking its own pace. 

Judged only by the outer cover,

Every moment was left out to discover.

Different phrases, words and chapters marked my life's book,

None took heed to get to know my every nook.

Sepia turned pages still mark my journey,

Which I travel to unveil my life's story.

Before setting on a soulful journey to embark, 

I hope I can leave an unforgettable mark.
