The Night Of Coalescing

It was perfectly silent,

In the heart of the night;

When every creature was in dreamland,

Only me and you in wonderland,

Making the night ours.

Availing wholly for each other,

Expressing our deepest desire,

Opening up treasure house of love,

Pouring out whispering words of love,

We were making the night ours.

Oh! That sweet silent night!

Unleashing the long arrested thought,

Two hearts entwined together,

Marked the beginning of our calendar,

As we make the night ours.

It was a cold winter night,

Though unaware we might;

And as the cold breeze for us sings,

Exchanging good night kisses,

We made the night ours.
